Design Thinking in Action: Design for Miami project showcase!
For the past 11 weeks, Design for Miami students have been hard at work solving problems for Miamians living below the poverty line.
Join December 1st as the four student teams will present the solutions they’ve been working on to the Miami community!
The project teams are:
• Smile4All: partnering with Catalyst Miami to help reduce emergency room dental visits for low income Miamians.
• Liberty to Make: getting parents and teachers of the maker club at Georgia Jones Ayers Middle School in Allapattah involved and engaged with the class. Our project partner is The Wynwood Maker Camp.
• Transportation: giving Miamians who participate in Catalyst Miami’s leadership programs transportation alternatives
• CS50x Miami: helping students of The Idea Center’s intro to computer science course succeed, increasing the course graduation rate.
